Strikes in old shop frames
Electric strikes here go into restaurant and office frames on Columbia Road and 18th Street, a short walk from the showroom where you can see the hardware. Frames are old, often filled with paint, and rarely straight. The sidewalk is not a cutting station. We do the noisy work with the door under control.

Columbia Road shop frames are full of old paint. We scrape only the pocket, not the whole jamb, and the latch still releases without you having to shove the door. Power comes from a real supply, not the doorbell wire.

Often the strike is misaligned or the latch is binding. We look before we sell a new one.
