A shop you can walk into

Capital Sentinel is a locksmith and security showroom serving Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You can walk in, look at the hardware, and talk through the door before anyone books the work.

The phone is (202) 900-5625 (202-900-LOCK). Email is capitolsentinel@gmail.com.

The posted grand opening is Grand Opening: Up to 20% Off. Bigger door and access-control installs take the bigger share of that discount. The three rates, the exclusions, and the end date are written on the offer-terms page.

Why clients come to the showroom

Grades, finishes, and handing are hard to judge from a photo. A deadbolt, a closer, a panic device, or a reader is easier to choose when you can hold it next to the door it has to fit.

Showroom hours and the 24-hour emergency line are different. The visit page lists both. Monday visits are by appointment. Emergency lockouts do not wait on the showroom schedule, and they are not part of the opening discount.

Can I see the hardware in person before I book?

Yes. Come by the showroom and look at the hardware in person before you book a planned installation.

Does the grand opening discount cover a planned installation?

For a planned installation, one tier applies, 20, 15, or 10 percent, only when the offer-terms page matches the scope. One offer per job. See the offer-terms page for the full list, valid through December 31, 2026.

How do I reach the shop?

For a planned installation, call (202) 900-5625 or email capitolsentinel@gmail.com. Directions and hours are on the contact page.

What should I bring?

For a planned installation, bring photos of the door, the edge, and the strike. Showroom hours and the 24-hour emergency line are different, and Monday visits are by appointment.
