Rekeys here are rowhouses and the occasional English basement on Columbia Road and the side streets off 18th. The showroom is in the neighborhood, so you can drop keys off on foot. Meters are short and there is no alley large enough for a van on most blocks. The uphill walk to Woodley Park station is the transit link.

English basements on this stretch often have a separate rim lock the main house forgot. We rekey it only when you put it on the list. A basement tenant who still lives there is not a surprise we want at the door.
