Cleveland Park is, a fifteen-minute ride when Connecticut Avenue is moving and longer when it is not. Porch-front houses and low apartment buildings line the side streets. The Red Line station serves the commercial strip. Side streets are permit parking. The avenue meters are the short-stop option.
On this visit
Porch ceilings on Newark and Ordway shade the cylinder, so the lock is colder than the avenue air and slow to turn. If the porch swing blocks the strike side, fold it back before we arrive.

Ask for a stuck Cleveland Park door, not a lost-key lockout. The tools are different.
