Unit cylinders in buildings over 14th Street
Rekeys in Columbia Heights are mostly apartment units over retail. The building entry is often a fob, and the unit is still a key. The Green and Yellow Line station and the retail garages are how we arrive.
On this visit
Condo turnover on 14th Street includes a mailbox cam that is not the unit key. Bring the mailbox key if you want it changed. Cluster boxes in the lobby follow postal rules and may be off limits.
Frequent questions
We turn three units this week. Can that be one visit?
Yes, if we have the unit list and access to each door in the same trip.
Where do you park?
In a retail garage. We do not stage in the 14th Street bike lane.
