Avenue shops between porch houses
Commercial doors in Petworth are the Georgia Avenue shops set between houses. The Green and Yellow Line station is the transit stop. The avenue is busy enough that a van cannot sit in a lane. A side street with a legal space, or a lot the shop has, is the arrival.
On this visit
Georgia Avenue carryouts use a night latch and a separate grill lock. If only the grill key is in your pocket, say that. Opening the grill does not open the latch, and we do not leave the grill half up.
Frequent questions
The gate is down and the door key is inside. Which job is it?
A gate plus a door. Tell us both so we bring what those two locks need.
How long from the showroom?
About fifteen to twenty-five minutes north, longer if Georgia Avenue is jammed.
