Georgia Avenue stiles and painted jambs
Petworth releases might be a thin stile on Georgia Avenue or an older painted jamb. The pocket is a different job for each. The station is local.
On this visit
Petworth openings are a coin toss between old wood and a thin stile. The photo of the latch edge is the difference between a useful trip and a second one. Gate motors are a different trade and we do not pretend to fix them.
Frequent questions
I am not sure if the frame is metal. What photo helps?
The edge of the door and the latch, with the door open. We can usually tell from that.
Do you share power with the gate?
No. A pedestrian strike gets its own supply. Gate motors are a different contractor if that is all that failed.
