Vestibule frames near the park
Woodley Park strikes are apartment vestibules. Hotel doors are a different contract. These vestibules cycle all day, including zoo weekends. Garages are the park for the van. The Red Line is local.
On this visit
Woodley Park vestibules cycle hard. We use a strike that can take that traffic and we watch a dozen releases, including with the closer armed. One successful buzz is not a test.
Frequent questions
The vestibule stands open after someone enters. Is the strike stuck?
It may be, or the closer may be too weak to relatch. We check both.
Can this be done without blocking the lobby?
We work one leaf at a time and say how long the door will be inconvenient.
