Decorative doors and tower unit preps
Bethesda installs are decorative townhouse doors and apartment unit doors. Garages and the Red Line are the arrival. A formal door is measured in place. We do not take it to the shop for a casual bore.
On this visit
Bethesda decorative doors with a multipoint gear are not a deadbolt candidate. Forcing a bore into a geared door wrecks the gear. We identify the multipoint before we unpack a boring jig.
Frequent questions
Can you match an existing brass mortise with a new deadbolt?
Sometimes. If a second hole would look wrong, we will say so and offer a mortise option instead.
Do you install the same day I visit the showroom?
The showroom is in Adams Morgan. Bethesda is a scheduled trip, not a walk-back install.
