Doors that already want to run downhill
Glover Park entrances slope toward Wisconsin Avenue. Closers here fight gravity. There is no Metro. A short curb stop is the arrival.
On this visit
A downhill swing in Glover Park will throw a closer arm if backcheck is lazy. We set backcheck first, then latch. Hinges that have pulled out of the jamb are repaired before the new body is blamed.
Frequent questions
The door opens itself. Is that dangerous?
It can hit someone on the sidewalk. Call and we will reset the closer for the slope.
How do you reach us?
