Keypads on sagging hill doors
Glover Park doors sit on a slope off Wisconsin Avenue. A smart bolt aligned to a sagging door will jam. The bus runs toward Tenleytown. Curb time is short.
On this visit
Glover Park slopes put the lock on the weather side. We pick a finish that can take rain off Wisconsin Avenue and we still leave a key in the kitchen, not only in a phone.
Frequent questions
The door scrapes. Can the keypad wait?
The scrape is first. A keypad on a scraping door fails immediately.
How long is the trip?
About fifteen minutes from Adams Morgan when Wisconsin Avenue moves.
