Hillside street parking
Mount Pleasant lockouts are cars on a steep permit street. The grade and a narrow road matter. There is no Metro parking lot to retreat to. We need a place to work that is not the middle of the lane.
On this visit
On a Mount Pleasant grade we ask about the brake before any tool. The car has to be unable to roll. Proof sits in your hand, not in the glovebox we have not opened.

Yes. Set the brake and turn the wheels if you can. Tell us the grade when you call.
Can you program a spare while you are here?
Only as a separate job with proof you control the vehicle, and only if that model is one we program. Ask before you count on it.
