Tower lobbies and avenue retail
Bethesda closers are high-rise lobbies and Wisconsin Avenue retail. Garages and the Red Line are the arrival.
On this visit
Bethesda lobby glass is heavier than the retail door on the avenue, and the two closers are not interchangeable. We mark which body went where so the engineer is not guessing next year.
Frequent questions
Our lobby door drifts and will not lock. Where do you start?
With the closer and the latch, then the pivot if the leaf has dropped.
Do you cover Bethesda from a local bench?
The bench is the Adams Morgan showroom. This is a scheduled service trip.
