This is emergency work. Call (202) 900-5625. It is outside the grand opening discount.

A locked safe opened by a method, after ownership is shown

Safe opening proves you control the safe, identifies the lock, and chooses a method. Dial diagnosis, lawful scoping, and manipulation come before a drill. The result is documented. No proof of ownership, a drill used as theater, destroyed contents, and the wrong lock type are the failures of a shop that wants to look busy. We do not guess combinations in front of you for show.

Call when a safe is locked and the combination is lost or the lock has failed. If you know the combination and only want it changed, book the change instead. Have proof the safe is yours. A vehicle lockout is not this service.

Dial diagnosis first, drill only when the method says so

Ownership, identification, a chosen method, and a written result are the visit. A promise that every safe opens in ten minutes is not. Ownership proof and method-before-drill are the rules. Contents are not a spectacle. If the method will mark the door, you hear that before metal is cut.

The photo of our van at a house is a visit, not a picture of a safe. Many openings happen inside, at a safe that never appears in a marketing shot. We still identify the lock. A group standing around while someone spins a dial at random is not a method, and we will not perform one.

Frequent questions

What ownership proof do you want for a safe?

A receipt, a household or business that can show the safe belongs there, and a person with authority to open it. A rented truck full of someone else's safe is a stop.

When is drilling the method rather than the opener?

When manipulation or the maker's procedure will not open that lock, and you have agreed to a repairable or a destructive entry. It is explained first. It is not done so the visit looks decisive.

Will the contents be laid out?

No. The goal is an open door and a documented result. We do not inventory your belongings for an audience.

Can you identify the lock from a texted photo?

Sometimes the dial or the keypad is enough to rule a method in or out. Often it is not. The quote for the method waits until the lock is seen, rather than a flat promise from a blurry picture.
